Donations

The contributions we receive from our donors are our lifeblood.  These may come from the envelopes that our St. Mary’s parishioners use to contribute each month.  They may be from other donors who send us checks or various philanthropic organizations that provide us with grants.  We receive no financial support from Federal, State, or local governmental agencies.

Please consider us when putting together your plans for charitable giving.  We are most grateful for any amount we receive, be it large or small.  To make a contribution to our chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul now, click on the Donate Online button below.  Checks can be mailed to us using the mailing address shown below.  Many of you with IRA accounts may want to use Qualified Charitable Distributions as a means of making tax-efficient contributions.

Please know that almost all the money we receive goes directly to help the people we serve.  We make every effort to see to it that your contributions are used where they are most needed.  Because we are an all-volunteer organization (we have no paid employees), we keep our overhead at an absolute minimum.  Our overhead expenses are less than 10%.

We have received a Gold Certificate of Transparency from GuideStar, a national organization that ranks non-profit organizations.

Our chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Your contribution may be tax-deductible.  We do not provide goods or services for the contributions we receive.
